Rated Efficiency: Enter the efficiency rating given by the manufacturer. This is usually found in the boiler’s manual or on the manufacturer’s website. Enter this value as a percentage (for example, for an efficiency of 90%, enter “90”).

Age of Boiler:  Enter the age of your boiler in years. If you’re not sure, try to estimate as best you can. The efficiency of boilers typically decreases as they get older, especially if they’re over 10 years old.

Serviced in the Last Year: Check this box if your boiler has been serviced in the last year. Regular maintenance can help a boiler maintain its efficiency.

Usage Level: Select your boiler’s usage level. If your boiler is only used for heating a small home, select “Light”. If it’s used for heating and hot water in a medium-sized home, select “Medium”. If it’s used for heating and hot water in a large home, or if it’s used in a commercial setting, select “Heavy”.
